STOP, DROP & YOGA Toddler

Yoga has been a part of our family for over 10 years and I wish I had learned about yoga earlier in my lifetime. So this serves me the opportunity to teach my babies.

My baby is 28 months now and she has learned to stop, drop, and YOGA anytime she feels overwhelmed. These babies live in our adult world and often can turn to crying because they have no other way to describe their feelings of anxiety. I have made her awrare of the power of her own breath and made her comfortable finding any pose that serves her in the moment. It's magical to watch her and see what she chooses at any moment. Below are 3 key benefits to teaching your baby yoga practices.

Yoga is a great way to help children develop physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Here are some of the benefits of yoga for children:

1. Physical health: Yoga helps children develop strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination. It also helps improve their posture and breathing.

2. Mental health: Yoga helps children develop focus, concentration, and self-awareness. It also helps reduce stress and anxiety.

3. Emotional health: Yoga helps children develop a sense of calmness, relaxation, and inner peace. It also helps improve their mood and self-esteem.

Teaching children how to breathe when stressed out is also important because it helps them manage their emotions and reduce their stress levels. When children are stressed, their breathing becomes shallow and rapid, which can make them feel even more anxious. By teaching them how to breathe deeply and slowly, they can calm their minds and bodies, and feel more relaxed and in control. This can help them cope with stressful situations more effectively and improve their overall well-being.
